GRAPE VARIETIES
Tempranillo 90% and Cabernet Sauvignon 7% and Merlot 3%.

450.000 Bordeaux bottles of 75 cl.
Also available in 37.5 cl, Mágnum, 3l., 5l. and 9l.

VINEYARD
This wine is made from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) (90 %), Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) and Merlot (3%) grape varieties, which come from our estate LA PLANTA where 20 years old vines are grown according to the traditional method.
The soil is clay-chalky and the sub-soil is pure limestone at one meter from the surface. Altitude: 900 meters over the sea level.

ELABORATION AND AGEING
The grape bunches are picked by hand when they have reached the optimum ripeness. The bunches are brought to the winery in plastic crates of 15 kilograms and sorted at a sorting table. After de-stemming and crushing them softly the grapes are pumped into small stainless-steel vats and stay in for several days at a low temperature, carrying out a slow alcoholic fermentation at 27º C.
After 16 months ageing in 50% French and 50% American oak barrels we acquire powerful wine that develops lots of fruit, with elegance and fineness.


TASTING:

VISUAL
Cherry red colour with ruby rim and nice bright.

NOSE
Complex wine aromas, with attractive roast hints. After some time in the glass, it develops new aromas that make it lively and fresh.

PALATE
Dense and well- balanced mouth feel, with wide variety of fruit presence and creamy feeling. Tasty and elegant, it is perfect to combine with different dishes.
This wine will not leave you indifferent because of the good feelings that it causes.

PAIRING AND CONSUMPTION
It goes perfectly well with powerful meats like cheeks or bull tail. It can also be served with stew, roasted red meat, big game meats or roasted lamb. Recommended serving temperature: 16ºC.
